Holiday Exhibit – Small Works

A Sherlock Carol

Two beloved classic tales. One thrilling new mystery! When a grown-up Tiny Tim asks Sherlock Holmes to investigate the peculiar death of Ebenezer Scrooge, the Great Detective must use his tools of deduction to get to the bottom of the crime. But it is a dark and treacherous Christmas Eve, and once again the holiday is haunted by the spirits of the past, present, and future. Reunite with the characters you love from Charles Dickens and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, brought together in a story of intrigue and suspense, with a holiday helping of Christmas cheer.

Make all your decisions on which piece, title, and price BEFORE submitting your entry.

This is a small works exhibit. Only wall-hung works up to 8×10” (not including frame) accepted. The exhibit will run concurrent with the theatre’s production of A Sherlock Carol. Members are encouraged, though not required, to create art related to the theme of the play, (see description above).

Work must be original, conceived and created by the artist. Work exhibited in a previous judged Guild show will be accepted. However, using such images in a piece (e.g. collage) where those images have been significantly transformed is allowed.

Copies and reproductions of original works of art, whether embellished or not, are not eligible for submission. However, prints such as photographs, lithographs, woodcuts, engravings, etching, screen prints, and digital works are acceptable as long as they are labeled as such.
