Meetings are 6:30 p.m. the third Thursday of the month, September through May, at the Lansing Neighborhood Empowerment Center at 600 W. Maple St. in Lansing unless otherwise noted. We offer speakers, demonstrations, or hands-on workshops to name a few. Come network and socialize with fellow artists. (Note: Our February meeting time is 2 PM.)
There are many opportunities to exhibit, compete, or sell art at various different venues.
Members are kept apprised of Guild events, member news, and other art opportunities through NewsBytes, our Facebook page , Instagram, and this website.
Members can have a link to their own art website and/or professional social media on this website’s Gallery page.
Membership dues pay for prizes and judges’ fees for shows, hosting this website, printing, postage, workshops, special guest speakers, and meeting room rental. Dues cover the fiscal year from September 1 to August 31.
MEMBERSHIP RULES
- Membership is available to anyone 18 years of age or older.
- No business activity can be conducted through Mid-Michigan Art Guild.
- As a member of MMAG, your name, address, phone number, email address and website will be published in a directory for our members only.
To join the MMAG, complete the membership form and remit your dues payment. Dues are $40.
**PLEASE have card/paypal ready. You will be asked for it on the next page. You have to fill out the application to get to the payment page. So, if you exit the payment page with plans to come back later, you will need to fill out the application again. While double or triple entries are not necessarily a problem, they are a little extra work (for both of us!).
